03 — The artist
Reinhard
Stammer
From the wonder of Ein Wunder to the open questions of Einige Fragen, Stammer’s poems move between presence and disappearance, time and what may lie beyond it. In his paintings, that movement returns as images rising from silence: traces of feeling, figures and fragments of memory.
His canvases never settle into a single meaning. They invite us to pause before what appears, sense what has passed, and remain open to what may still emerge.
